Club Mission Statement
Club START seeks to provide a safe environment for students to discuss and address feelings or concerns and to raise awareness on social issues of gender bias, race, religion, culture, and sexual orientation to James Workman Middle School student body.

Club START meets after school every Tuesday at 2:30 in
Room 913 (Amplo) or 409 (Zimmerman).

"Safe Schools Desert Cities empowers area Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Intersex youth (LGBTQI+), their allies and GSA advisors and offers opportunities that foster a sense of community and individual growth by providing education, guidance, advocacy, resources, recreational activities and opportunities for self expression."
