1. While reading this novella, you will maintain your character organizer (Analyzing Characters). You will also maintain a Reading Log to summarize each chapter. These assignments are a grade and maintaining them is your responsibility each as we read.

2. You will also maintain/complete a google docs assignments (Classroom) which covers vocabulary, plot, character, text connections, and responses/reflections. This is a grade and maintaining this assignment is your responsibility each day when you are given studio time.

3. As you conclude the reading of this novella, you will complete a direct and indirect characterization form to show thorough analysis of your major character by thinking about direct and indirect characterization (you kept documentation while you were reading). Complete ALL 5 parts for a grade.

4. After reading this novella, you will complete a Problem/Solution Essay. Assignment will be provided later.

5. Performance Task - Whose Cell Phone Is This? Follow the directions assigned to the task.
